About Leslie

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when I was 13 years old after several long and awful months being ill. If you’re reading this, you may relate to feelings of frustration with Dr.’s visits in which your symptoms were brushed off, getting one inconclusive test after another, or trial and error with heavy duty medications with no relief and/or LOTS of side effects.

Right after I was diagnosed, I was told that the etiology of the disease is still unknown, there was no cure, and nothing else to do but take medication for the rest of my life.

I knew that somehow I wasn’t just

going to be a victim

to this disease for the rest of my life

and that I would not be beholden to medications.

Being so young and so sick was difficult because I was confused and didn’t know how to advocate for myself. However, the blessing is now I’ve had several years to learn about autoimmunity, natural ways of healing, self-care, and what works for me.

I am now a Registered Nurse, Integrative Health Coach, Stress Management and Resiliency Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Certified Yoga Teacher. I work with individuals living with autoimmune disease who suffer from pain, fatigue, and worry. I offer empowerment and hope through personalized coaching so they can feel vibrant, beautiful, and productive.

Collectively, autoimmune diseases are among the most prevalent diseases in the U.S.,

affecting more than 23.5 million Americans.

They are more common among women.

Empathy

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease when I was 13. It took me over 10 years suffering with my autoimmune condition to understand how big of an impact stress played in my flare-ups.

I know that your pain is real, I know what it’s like to feel so tired and depressed even with enough sleep, and I relate to your frustration with the conventional medical system.

I believe in the power of coaching and how it can transform lives, and my mission is give the power back to you so that you can heal and live the life of your dreams.
